CTE Celebration

Fort Worth, TX – Texans Can Academies (TCA) Fort Worth Lancaster Campus is proud to celebrate Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month with a series of exciting events highlighting student skills and career pathways. Under the leadership of Principal Justin Reyes, the campus is showcasing how CTE programs empower students with hands-on experiences and industry-relevant skills for their future careers.

The celebration started with the first-ever "Skill Showdown," a dynamic event where students demonstrated their talents in cosmetology, business, technology, and culinary arts. The event featured a Shark Tank-style competition, where students pitched their business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges, including Principal Justin Reyes.

CTE Month is a time to highlight our students' creativity, hard work, and career readiness.

In addition to the Skill Showdown, students participated in career workshops, industry guest speaker sessions, and hands-on demonstrations that connected classroom learning to real-world careers. The campus also partnered with local businesses to offer students insight into various career pathways and opportunities.

The Fort Worth Lancaster Campus's CTE Month celebration reflects Texans Can Academies' commitment to empowering students with skills that lead to graduation and success in the workforce.
