Responsible for providing instruction to English Language learners and assesses student progress within LEP/ESL settings. This position includes participating in direct instruction, LPAC, ARDS, working with all instructional staff as it relates to ELL student needs. Provide students with appropriate learning activities, materials, and equipment that will reflect an experience designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Confer with students and or parents regarding problems of underachievement. Manage student behavior in the classroom, administer discipline according to procedures, maintains confidentiality of all information, treats all students and staff with respect and professionalism. Provide students with appropriate curriculum that will promote the mastery of all TEKS objectives.
